Pavel Cantu Creative Director Commercial Director
For over 15 years, Pavel has directed TV ads, promos and documentaries for networks in the US and Latin America. He started his career as a storyboard illustrator for feature films such as "The Locust", "Gas, Food and Lodging" and "Swimming with Sharks". These skills turned Pavel into a freelance art director and creative director in advertising for the US and México. Pavel started winning awards in advertising, paving the way for this directorial debut in 1995 with his short film "Fear of Dancing & Other Diseases."
Throughout his career, Pavel has worked both as a creative and a director for some of the top Hispanic and General Market advertising agencies. This unique experience has given him a complete understanding of bicultural trends in the US and Latin America. He has applied this understanding to creating and directing highly versatile and visual campaigns for multinational brands such as McDonald's, KIA, HBO, Honda, Budlight, and the US Army, among many others.
